"I called in to this location after to find out who a particular driver was, that dang near ran into me and my family while turning as we turned in which we clearly had the right away, but this fake tough guy, old stone cold Steve Austin lookin self, didn't yield, slow down or anything like that. We followed him and he hop out the car and went into state farm. Assuming he either worked there or at the very least had business there, I called to inquire about the guy to see if he worked there and to make a complaint, but the lady Gale didn't want to give us any of that information although I informed her what my intentions were and that was to make a complaint. I understand not wanting to divulge anyone's info to the public, but that guy needs to he reprimanded and go back to drivers training and practice more safety on the road. I use state farm insurance, so technically I am a customer and I didn't like how customer service was handle in this instance. Gale seems nice, but honestly she should have been more investigative and less dismissive (and I'm aware the guy was in office when I was asking who he was)"

The office staff are very helpful when I call with questions, and if they have to get that from the corporate office they always call me back when they have answers for me. "Should be Root 4 Ripoff! Took my full coverage insurance money for YEARS and denied my claim when my jeep hit a pot hole and was TOTALED. I still had 3000.00 left to pay on it and they denied my claim - said it was a pre-exisiting condition. Now they screwed me over by canceling my other 4 policies 8 months ago without even telling me. They can't tell me what happened and when I asked to be reinstated, it get the "new insurer" price.. because I haven't been insured for x-months. Bend over... here it comes again! Greg...now you don't even have the guts to call me. Do yourself a favor, people...steer clear."

"I currently have my home and auto insurance with Greg Root for three reasons. First, I priced different insurance companies and found that State Farm was slightly cheaper than the other companies. Second, I chose Greg Root as my agent because I've known him for 14 years and he is a very good person. Third, I previously had my policies with him through State Farm between 2007 and 2010 but switched to Allstate because I got better rates for a few years. Greg Root did a great job for me between 2007 and 2010. When I left his agency in 2010 he was very gracious about me cancelling my policies and never made it a personal issue. He understood my motivation to save money and he was just as understanding when I called him up 5 years later and wanted to come back for the same reason. I have never had any negative experiences with Greg Root as a person or with his insurance company. I like that his office is fully staffed with competent people who have certain areas of expertise (Greg, Julie, Tina, and Gail) . I recently filed a claim for a parking lot accident resulting in significant bumper damage to my car. Everyone in his office was professional about handling my claim and did everything possible to fix it to my satisfaction. I highly recommend the Greg Root insurance agency."
